What is ChitMate?
ChitMate is an app for organizing trusted savings circles, schedules, member activity, reminders, and payout rotations.
How does ChitMate work?
Create a circle, invite trusted members, define contribution details, track activity, and receive reminders.
Is ChitMate a bank?
No. ChitMate is not a bank, lender, investment platform, escrow service, or payment processor.
Does ChitMate hold my money?
No. ChitMate does not currently hold, transfer, lend, invest, or insure user funds.
Can I make payments through ChitMate?
Not currently. Payments are handled outside the app by the group.
Does ChitMate guarantee payouts?
No. ChitMate does not guarantee contributions, payouts, member behavior, or the financial reliability of any circle.
Is ChitMate an investment platform?
No. ChitMate is an organizational platform and does not provide investment products or financial advice.
Who can create a savings circle?
Trusted organizers can create circles and invite members they know and trust.
How do members join?
Members join through the invitation flow provided by a circle organizer.
What happens when someone misses a contribution?
The group should follow its own agreed rules. ChitMate can help organize records and reminders, but it does not enforce payments.
Can an organizer change the payout schedule?
Organizer permissions and group rules should define what can be changed and when members should be notified.
Is my information secure?
ChitMate is designed with privacy and security in mind. Read the Safety page and Privacy Policy for more details as launch approaches.
Is ChitMate free?
Launch pricing has not been announced. If paid plans are added, they will be explained clearly before purchase.
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion instructions will be available in the app and support center before public launch.
